30th Birthday

Here is a breakdown of how my 30th birthday played out.

My wonderful parents came up from Vegas so that way I wasn't alone on my birthday. It was great for my mom and me, because we were able to catch up on all our shopping (looking for me).

One of our favorites Tai Pan Trading. They had all their Halloween decor out and my mom and I were having the time of our life.

Here I am trying on a ridiculously huge Halloween top-hat.

My wonderful mother also cut my hair (twice) while she was out. My mother has always loved my long hair and I knew it was going to take some persuading to get her to agree to chop off my hair, but she did a great job and I think no one could have done a better job.

On Sept 9 my parents and I went to dinner with my two Uncles. My uncle and I share the same birthday so it was extra special for both of us. When trying to decide where to go, we chose, of course, OLIVE GARDEN. (It also helped that they were serving the Never Ending Pasta Bowl)

My wonderful Uncles gave me a beautiful arrangement of flowers.

And my mother (bless her heart) made favors for all of us.

Well, my birthday finally came and when I started to drive to my aunts to meet with my mom and dad to go to our annual Scrapbook Convention Adventure...I got in an accident. First accident I've been in in a long time. Luckily it wasn't my fault, and I have a huge amount of support from my wonderful Deputy co-workers (3 showed up to help) and my parents (who also showed up).

Now it was time for my Birthday Dinner. My parents, my aunt Diane and uncle Don, cousin Russell and his cousin Dave and I all went to the Old Spaghetti Factory at Trolley Square. A must-have-to-stop for any trip to Salt Lake as I was growing up.

My aunt (bless her heart) told the server it was my birthday and had everyone sing to me.

My cousin Russell, his cousin Dave and me...Cherell Sandwich anyone?

My wonderful parents (Can you tell my mom hates taking pictures?)

My Aunt Diane and Uncle Don

My cousin Russell (my dog sitter/trainer) and me. Aren't we cute??

All in all.... I laughed, I cried and it was all I expected my 30th Birthday to be. Best part out of everything, was my parents being there to share my special day. My family means the world to me and I love them with all my heart. XOXO
