Found a great blog for Crochet hats for both adults and kids. They are sooooooo cute! Would love to have them all.

I actually have a friend on facebook who is starting to make her own. Look how cute hers turned out. I told her she needs to start selling them on her blog.

Can I just say that this little girl is the most precious little girl I have ever seen....would love to have a little girl of my very own someday that I can pamper and spoil rotten. :)

Craft Junkie 28

Found a great shop on Etsy... CraftJunkie28.

Go and check out her things....I have a couple already from previous purchases and I love them.

cute Pictures, Images and Photos
Just saw this and thought it was cute. ;)

Mitzy's New Dew

Poor Mitzy gets matted every winter because of the snow, so I finally broke down and shaved her down. Shaving her is always a big "to-do", since she has so much hair. It took me all day...

Well, now she is completely shaved except her head and tail and she has to wear her "PUP ROCK" shirt so she doesn't get cold.

You can tell she feels embarrassed, but it's something that needs to be done at least once a year...a fresh start.

There is still time to order your very own Handmade Valentines Notebook before it's too late.

They are $6.00 each (+shipping) and are extremely cute, if I do say so myself.

Also, if you are interested in getting a head start to Easter, I also do a very cute Easter Notebook, also for $6.00

Let me know if you are interested in ordering one.

Dinner for Schmucks

This weekend I saw a very funny movie....DINNER FOR SCHMUCKS. I had heard by several people that it was funny, but I had no idea it was going to be as funny as it was. I highly recommend watching this movie. You will laugh your butt off.

An ambitious executive accepts an invitation from his boss to attend a dinner party where high-powered professionals make fun of unsuspecting dimwits in this remake of Francis Veber's 1998 comedy The Dinner Game. Upwardly mobile executive Tim (Paul Rudd) has just landed his company an extremely wealthy Swiss client when his boss, Lance (Bruce Greenwood), invites him to an exclusive, yet unusually mean-spirited dinner party where each of the high-powered executives brings a guest to make fun of. Recognizing that his long-awaited promotion is finally within reach, Tim begins to have second thoughts about participating in the elaborate charade when his longtime girlfriend, Julie (Stephanie Szostak), the successful curator at a local art gallery, voices intense disdain for the idea. The following day, Tim is looking for a way out of the dinner when fate throws the perfect guest right in front of his luxury car. Barry (Steve Carell) is a sweet but dim-witted IRS agent with an unusual hobby: he creates elaborate dioramas featuring stuffed mice. His latest project is "The Last Supper," and he's just put the finishing touches on a tiny mouse Jesus to set at the center of the table. Tim knows that Barry is his ticket to a big corner office on the seventh floor, but the closer the party looms, the more he realizes that his bumbling new acquaintance isn't just an idiot, but also is a magnet for chaos

Here is the trailer for the movie.

Also, I absolutely loved the mouse dioramas that they used in the movie. The Chiodo Brothers did a great job using mice (not real ones) to recreate extraordinary scenes for the movie. I would love to see them make a book of pics of each of the dioramas. That would be awesome!

Extra! Extra!

Extra! Extra! Read all about it....look up in the sky ladies and gentleman for flying pigs today because I went to church for the first time in I think 3 years.

With recent happenings, I felt I could use all the blessings I could get and the only way that is going to happen is if I suck it up and get back into going to church. So, today, I woke up at the crack of 8:30am and got ready.

I was so proud of myself for actually getting up early, getting ready and getting to church on time, I took a picture of myself in the parking lot. Can you tell I was thrilled? :)

Anyways, after sitting alone in church, partaking of the sacrament and then rushing off to work....I can actually say, "I feel great!" It felt good to actually do something I have been meaning to do for so long.

Hooray for me!

Chalkboard Paint

I was just sitting here going through pictures of different houses and I thought up a great idea for a guest/kids bathroom.....chalkboard paint! I know, this has already been done, hence the pictures I'm about to show you...but I thought it would be cute to do this.

I loved this idea so much, I would even do chalkoards throughout the wonderful to have one in the kitchen to write recipes, messages and shopping lists on.

Think of all the other rooms you can do this in....

Check out the following Etsy shop

Their items are called Butt Ug Lee and are anything but ugly. VERY CUTE!
Only concern....they are a bit pricey.

Angel Wings

Anyone who knows me, knows I am a big fan of angel wings. I don't know why, but I am drawn to anything that has them on them. So, here are some pics I found of some great angel wings merchandice....

Day 1

Last night was a great night....I got to go home early from work, had dinner literally waiting for me at the door (which was d-e-l-i-c-i-o-u-s), watched the Bourne Supremacy and actually slept for more than 4 hours.

This morning, I actually woke up early enough to take my time getting ready for work, straighten up the house a little bit, have breakfast and then go to work.

All I can say is, this is going to be a great day!

I have my Carnation Breakfast Drink to one side of my console and my water/ juice mix to the other and I'm ready to take on the world.

So....what's on my mind today that I can share with you (if anyone is actually reading this)? I think I am going to share little bits of insight everyday about different things...Let me know if you think this is helpful or entertaining...

MOVIES: I have been watching Julie & Julia a lot lately. Maybe it's because all the food looks amazing or that Meryl Streep is positively charming as the famous Julia Childs...but I love this movie!!! Julie Powell reminds me of me in this movie (personality wise). Someone who needs a project to help with her run of the mill life, so she starts to make a recipe a day via Julie Child's Mastering the Art of French Cooking Cookbook. As she tackles these recipes, she writes about them on her blog. I even follow her blog now....which is under "blogs I follow". Rent, buy, whatever to see this's great!

BEAUTY: I have tried two new makeup products that are both very good.
Covergirl Natureluxe Foundation: Goes on like a moose foundation and stays put all day. Covers imperfections well and light enough for even the whitest of complexions.

Maybelline Fit Me Powder: Most cheap powders go on weird with me, but this one goes on smooth and doesn't accentuate those little imperfections we don't want to stand out. It is also light enough for those of whiter complexions too. As you can see from this and the above, finding a makeup that's light enough for me is always a concern.

Well....that's all I can think of to share with all of you today....come back later for more.

Check out my crafts. They make a great gift!!!
