Whipper Snapper Designs

I was looking around online today for new companies and came across some of the cutest stamps I have ever seen. The company, Whipper Snapper Designs. I went immediately to their website and fell in love with all the adorable stamps they have for sell. They remind me a lot of the crafts I love and have purchased from the Quilted Bear, a craft store here in Utah. Here are some of the many wonderful stamps to choose from. Go to their website, you'll want to purchase everything they have.

I finally received my Prismacolor markers. They are awesome! I'm sure they aren't as nice as the Copic markers that I was dying to get, but to have all the colors for the price I paid, I can deal.

After receiving the markers, I was itching to try them out on a couple of new stamps I recently bought. Here are a couple of pictures of the tryouts I did. I think they turned out pretty cute for not actually trying. What do you think?

Also, I finally placed a couple of orders for some Magnolia stamps. I have been looking all over online for the best deal on Magnolia stamps and I have found two websites that carry the best selection and have the best prices. I first went to www.rosesonpaper.com and looked at what they had that www.7kidscollegefund.com didn't and purchased what they had in stock. Then I went over to www.7kidscollegefund.com and purchased the majority of their Magnolia supply, since they have the best price on their Magnolia stamps and websites tend to run out quick.

I am so excited to get these stamps and be able to play with them with my new markers. I will keep you posted with the many projects I have planned.

Here are links to the two websites I mentioned:

Check out Today's Special Value on QVC.Com, it's tooooooo cute!

Maxx New York Travel Essentials 4-Pc. Fashion Luggage Set (F06732)
for $122.70

I finally ordered a professional set of markers

I have been dying to get my hands on a great set of professional markers for my stamping hobby, but I have been putting it off, seeing as they are so expensive. Well, after I discovered the wonderful world of Magnolia stamps, I then discovered that having the right tools really does make a difference. Most of the Magnolia Stamper that I have been following recently prefer Copic Markers, they are great for blending and creating a more realistic look in your work. The only problem is, they run anywhere from $5-7.00 a piece.

Well, I was so addicted to getting my hands on these markers, I went to Holly Hobby recently and actually put all the colors they had (about 90 of them)in my basket and almost made it to the checkout. Fortunately, I came to my senses after I totaled the price in my h
ead, and put all of the markers back.

Since then, I have been online, looking up more information on Copics, as well as some of their competitors, one in particular,Prismacolor markers. Needless to say, after I found an incredible deal on Dickblick.com, I finally ordered a 156 set of Prismacolor markers. The set includes all their colors as well as the marker holders. I should be getting them in the mail sometime this week. I can't wait to try them out!!! I will let you all know if I am in love, or if they will be sent back to Dick Blick. Stay tuned...

PF Changs

Last night I was craving Chinese food badly, so my husband and I decided to go to the only place that would serve yummy Chinese food on a Sunday night and still be open past eight o'clock. We got dressed up, just as if we were dating, me in my little black dress and Marko in a blue button down shirt and tan dockers. We were a sexy looking couple I must say.

We got to PF Chang's around eight and ordered from their pre-fix menu for two, you can order a choice of soup, an appetizer, two entrees and a dessert shot. Here is what we ordered:

Marko ate both a Hot and Sour Soup as well as my Egg Drop Soup

We ordered the Spring rolls for our appetizer. Four rolls are on a plate, each stuffed with crispy veggies, and served with sweet sauce. Very YUMMY!

For our entrees we ordered Beef with Broccoli and Sweet and Sour Chicken. We usually ordered the Pepper Steak instead of the chicken, but I can't eat it, it's too hot. The chicken wasn't that bad, but I didn't care for it that much. It didn't come with any dipping sauce, which I'm used to, and the sweet sauce that was on it wasn't that sweet. The Beef with Broccoli always tastes pretty good. It has a sauce that reminds me of Sunday roast at my mother's house.

We also ordered Chicken Lo Mein. I had never had it before, but it always looked good, so I figured I would give it a shot. OH MY GOSH! It was sooooooo good. I wanted to eat all of it, but I also wanted to save some for my lunch for work the next day. I don't know what they put in the sauce, but it was so good! Besides the mushrooms, I could eat it everyday!

For dessert they allow you to get two shots from their Dessert Shots. There are eight different choices of cakes, each that are served in a small shot glass. We ordered the Chocolate Cake and Red Velvet Cake (which has a cream cheese frosting that I could eat a tub of). The Tiramisu is my favorite, but they were out, so I settled for Red Velvet Cake. The perfect size to just get enough of that sweet goodness, but not gorge yourself on dessert after partaking in a huge meal.

All in all it was a very satisfying evening, all the food we ate hit the spot! Go if you can, always a wonderful dining experience.

Check out my crafts. They make a great gift!!!
